FJC Donors Join Forces to Battle Covid 19

FJC’s first-ever Collective Giving Campaign, focused on addressing the Covid-19 pandemic, raised over $147,000 for six outstanding organizations that are tackling the impacts of the pandemic in a range of ways: food security, employment, grassroots organizing, small business support, public health, and research and development. During the campaign period in May 2020, donor contributions were matched dollar-for-dollar by FJC’s Special Initiatives Fund Read more

Private Home Transforms Public Library

FJC is home to imaginative donors that seek to go beyond donations of cash or appreciated securities to their Donor Advised Fund accounts. Georgette Bennett and Leonard Polonsky's family fund worked with FJC to transform a residential property in Aspen, Colorado into a portion of their $12 million grant to the New York Public Library. The grant will support a permanent display of items from its extensive research collections, including an original copy of The Declaration of Independence and The Gutenberg Bible. Read more.
